Any school district required to report 2008-09 school-level expenditures should participate. (List of districts required to report)

Instructions and Schedule
Elluminate allows SED to provide online training right at your own computer. The ARRA School-Level Expenditure Reporting session will be delivered entirely over the Internet; no telephone contact is involved. In order to hear the session you need either auxiliary speakers or you may use the internal speakers of your computer by changing the mute and volume settings. Questions may be asked by typing into the Elluminate chat box.
This session can enroll up to 150 people. If you are closed out or miss the session, a recorded version will be available on the SED ARRA School-Level Reporting website: http://usny.nysed.gov/arra/reporting/home.html.
To join as a participant, use the URL noted in the chart below. Enter your first and last name at the log-in prompt. It is recommended that you copy and paste the URL into your internet browser to ensure accuracy. Do not re-type the URL. Enter your name (First and Last) at the login prompt. There is no password required.
In order to participate in meetings using Elluminate you must go through a one time system check to determine whether your computer has the appropriate hardware and software to permit you access. If this is the first time you will be using Elluminate you may be prompted to download some software which can take anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes depending upon your Internet connection speed. You can pre-configure your system with the required software by going to the support page located at: http://www.elluminate.com/support/

Please be sure to give yourself enough time to load the software. Log on at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the session.
Please follow the instructions that appear on the PowerPoint slide upon entry to the meeting site. This will guide you through adjusting your speaker and microphone volumes for optimal participation. At any time, if you have a question, please click on the raised hand button and you will be acknowledged or type a comment/question into the chat box line.

Please note the following technical advice re: accessing Elluminate:
- If you are currently using Internet Explorer 6.0 or older, you will need to upgrade your browser to IE 7.0 or 8.0 in order to participate in these sessions.
The following are the minimum requirements for accessing the Elluminate program.
Microsoft Windows Client
- Windows XP (32 bit)
- Vista (32 or 64 bit)
Apple Macintosh Client
- Mac OS X 10.5
- G5 or Intel Processor
Browser
- Internet Explorer 7 or better
- Firefox 3.x or higher
Other
- Sun JAVA - 1.5.0_07 or higher
- Connection to the internet - 28.8 Kbps or higher
- RAM - 256 MB free
- Disk - 20 MB free
At this time, Elluminate does not function with PCs running the following operating systems:
- Windows 7.0
- MAC Snow Leopard
If you have either of these operating systems on the PC/Mac you were going to use to participate in these sessions, we recommend you participate using a PC or Mac with an older operating system.
