Eligibility List: Strengthening Teacher and Leader Effectiveness RFP

Please note: this update only includes the addition of 21 public school districts and 3 public charter schools; no other changes have been made.

Under section 1113(a)(5) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), the following public schools districts and public charter schools are eligible applicants for the Strengthening Teacher and Leader Effectiveness (STLE) RFP based on the criteria that at least 25% of students are from low-income families.

Please note:

  • Only districts with 25% or higher poverty have been included in the list and, as such, total student enrollment by region only includes districts with 25% or higher poverty.
  • All data is based on the 2010-2011 school year.
  • In order to be an eligible applicant for the STLE RFP, a public school district and public charter school must be included in the list below and be fully implementing Education Law §3012-c.
  • An applicant’s maximum award is based on the student enrollment data listed here and as specified in the RFP.
