IFB #12-007: Race to the Top Network Team Institute (NTI)

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) is seeking proposals from bidders to host the Race to the Top Network Team Institute (NTI) for the school year 2012-13. Hotels located within the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga or Rensselaer are invited to submit a bid for one or more of the 2 NTI session bundles that will be held from September 2012 through May 2013. The services needed include lodging, meeting space, audio visual equipment and set-up, and food for approximately 500 to 900 participants. NYSED will make separate awards for each of the 2 session bundles. Bidders are encouraged to submit proposals for both NTI session bundles, as a bidder may receive both awards. The contracts resulting from this IFB will be for a term beginning no sooner than September 1, 2012 and ending no later than May 31, 2013.

Mandatory Requirements

Eligible hotels must be located in the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga or Rensselaer and have a general session room that can accommodate 500 to 900 estimated participants (depending on the month) for a particular session (see Chart A), and be able to provide from 200 to 300 hotel rooms (double occupancy, two double-beds) for a given session (see Chart A).

  • Submission Documents, including the Mandatory Requirements Certification
  • Cost Proposal labeled Cost Proposal – IFB#12-007 Do Not Open
