American Association of School Administrators -
Organization to support and develop effective school system leaders who are dedicated to the highest quality
public education for all children.

American Federation of School
Administrators (AFSA) - The only national education organization providing
labor, professional and occupational services to public school principals,
vice principals, administrators and supervisors.
American Federation of Teachers (AFT) -
Offers resources for educators, including publications, education salaries and benefits, and general
resources.
American Library Association (ALA) -
The library association with up to date news, events, and activities.
Association for Educational Communications
and Technology (AECT) - Hopes to provide leadership in educational communications and technology by
linking professionals holding a common interest in the use of educational technology and its application to
the learning process.
Association for the Advancement of Computing in
Education (AACE) - International, educational and professional not-for profit organization dedicated to
the advancement of the knowledge, theory, and quality of learning and teaching at all levels with information
technology.
Association of American Educators -
An organization for professional educators who are more concerned about our children's right to a good
education than they are with just their own benefits.
American Society for Information Science and
Technology - The society for information professionals leading the search for new and better theories,
techniques, and technologies to improve access to information.
Council of
Administrators of Special Education (CASE) - To support administrators of
special education programs at the local and national level, affiliated with
Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
Council of New York Special Education
Administrators (CNYSEA) - This organization is affiliated with CASE and
CEC. Their mission is to promote professional leadership; provide opportunity
for study of problems common to our members; and, communicate, through
discussion and publications, information that will develop improved services
for exceptional children on a national basis and with the State of New York.

Administrators (CSA) - The union that represents New York City public
school principals, assistant principals, supervisors and administrators.

Educause - The mission of EDUCAUSE is
to help shape and enable transformational change in higher education through the introduction, use,
and management of information resources and technologies in teaching, learning, scholarship, research,
and institutional management.
National Art Education Association -
Promotes art education through Professional Development, Service, Advancement of Knowledge, and Leadership.
National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC)
- An organization of parents, educators, other professionals and community leaders who unite to address the
unique needs of children and youth with demonstrated gifts and talents as well as those children who may be
able to develop their talent potential with appropriate educational experiences.
National Association of Elementary School
Principals (NAESP) - The mission of NAESP is to lead in the advocacy and support for elementary and middle
level principals and other education leaders in their commitment to all children.

Principals - Our mission is to promote excellence in school leadership.
National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) - Organization of early childhood professionals dedicated to improving education
in children.
National Education Association
(NEA) -
NEA is America's oldest and largest organization committed to advancing the cause of public education.
National School Boards Association
(NSBA) -
The mission of NSBA is to foster excellence and equity in public education through innovation in school
board leadership and community engagement.
New York State Association of School
Business Officials (NYSABO) - The purpose of NYSASBO is to offer assistance through a professional association
to individuals who are responsible for the business management of a school district.
The New York State Council of School
Superintendents (NYSCOSS) - The Council provides its members with numerous
professional development opportunities, publications and personal services,
while advocating for public education and the superintendency.

Research & Improvement - Provides national leadership for educational research and statistics
and offers a variety of services to customers through its library, institutes and program-specific offices.
School Administrators Association of
New York State (SAANYS) - A professional association comprised of a
diverse group of more than 6,500 school leaders.
